Dr. Taylor by Sharon Woods
Hello friends and lovers!
It has been way too long since my last book review. I promise I have been reading, but writing has been my priority. So, while I’m slowly reading, but rapidly going through audiobooks, I have a lot to catch up on. Most of my activity shows on my goodreads, if you want to check it out there.
I have a special treat from indie author, Sharon Woods. Her debut novel Dr. Taylor was one I had been looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint! I enjoyed that it was an insta love. I mean, who wouldn’t fall in love with 38 year old Dr. Taylor? He’s an alpha, but a true cinnamon roll inside, had a rocking body, and his temper is hot! Yup, I’d fall in love instantly too, good for you, Alice!
I enjoyed this age-gap romance between Alice, who is a new nurse who is contracted under Dr. Taylor. The best part is, they met at a club when her friends took her out to celebrate, little did she know Dr. Taylor would end up being her boss.
There is a lot of drama and it flowed very well. It was interesting learning new Australia type words that are often used and I liked that a lot.
Overall, this was a 5/5 for me. Great debut by Sharon Woods and she has her second book coming out very soon. Check it out here.
What I Enjoyed:
Age gap stories are becoming one of my favorite tropes!
Their love felt so real and even though it may be perceived as fast, it felt natural with these two characters. Love can happen in the blink of an eye and I enjoyed Alice and Mike!
