If You Were Mine - By Melanie Harlow, Book Review
Hello friends and lovers,
Theo and Claire are very interesting characters, especially Theo. Their chemistry together is pretty real and almost explosive. Claire is more of an insecure character who seems to have very high standards, yet she hasn’t been able to find someone. Maybe high standards isn’t the best way to describe it. She’s really sweet and there isn’t a reason she shouldn’t be able to find a man. It’s funny, because she meets Theo through a find a date type of ad, because she found herself in an awkward situation where she needed a “boyfriend” date for a wedding. Theo, he’s damaged goods. But he is quite hot! Theo has a few secrets that he doesn’t want Claire to find out.
Below are highlights of what I liked and didn’t like. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
What I Enjoyed:
Theo’s relationship with his family. He is so full of love and it’s nice to see what he is really like when he’s truly comfortable.
The chemistry that Claire and her friends had. I like how the author’s writing style was set up to learn about Claire’s lack of date through them.
Claire and Theo, I enjoyed each time they did get together. It was fun, sexy, and overall great!
What I Didn’t Like:
Claire and Theo’s love was a bit overwhelming at first. Normally I enjoy that, however I wouldn’t have minded a little slow burn with their love.

Claire and Theo were off the charts with their steamy sexy moments! I mean, at one point I remember saying out loud, “Damn Claire! I thought you were a goodie two shoe!” 🔥 🔥🔥
