Hello friends and lovers!

My Favorite Souvenir by talented duo Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have knocked another romance out of the park!

Milo and Maddie Hooker — who by the way are using these names as a cover up to ensure they receive a reservation at an overbooked hotel due to a bad storm — they are so sneaky!

We discover that “Maddie Hooker” is stuck in Vale because her fiancé put the brakes on their wedding and Milo was there to visit family. The issue is, they can’t leave Vale and they have no hotel room, so what do they do to ensure they are sheltered for the night? They impersonate Milo and Maddie Hooker, whom are two siblings, and take their reservation (RUDE!).

Anyways, these two main characters were, in my opinion, really cute. They end up growing closer together by traveling in nearby areas and taking souvenirs to remember their endeavors before they have to reluctantly go back to reality.

This romance is steamy, it is a slow burn, like veeeeerrrrrrryyyy slow burn and I highly recommend it is you’re into this type of story, I know I am! I’m all for the slow burn, because it burns so fucking good.

I loved that their adventures and what they discover about one another was really exciting, unexpected, and outright hilarious!

If you love Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, then you’ll love this. This is certainly within their quirky romantic, steamy comedy style.

What I Enjoyed:

  • There was a place they go visit, a bed and breakfast and I really didn’t expect the twist the authors took me on, but it was really imaginative and I’d say very creative on their part.

  • I really liked this book and would highly recommend it!
