Your Captivating Love - Book Review

See this content in the original post

Hello friends and lovers,

The second book of the Bennet family series. This story includes Ava’s best friend Nadine and Sebastian’s brother, Logan.
We are introduced to Nadine in the previous book. Ava and Nadine are beet friends and Ava persuades Nadine to move to San Francisco. Of course, Pippa and Ava plan to match Nadine and Logan together.

Nadine ends up moving to San Francisco and plans to open a designer clothing store. She’s very tight on money, due to past mistakes she has made and is determined to make it on her own, without help from anyone.

Cue in Logan… he falls for Nadine at first sight. Below is my review of the story. All expressions and opinions are completely my own. Please comment or share if you liked the review or read the book.

What I Enjoyed:

  • I really enjoyed the character’s chemistry. I love when Nadine hangs out with Pippa! Ava isn’t as present as I thought, but she’s busy planning her wedding with Sebastian (how sweet!). Logan is a pretty sexy guy who knows exactly what he wants, which is Nadine. Much like his brother Sebastian, they are used to working themselves sick, but with the love of their one and only, they take it a bit easier.

  • Layla Hagen has a real knack for character chemistry and it is infectious. I laugh, cry, and feel for the characters within each step of the way.

  • I look forward to hearing Pippa’s love story in the third book! Review for that one will be out next week.

  • Nadine and Logan have a steamier type of romance which makes their sex scenes really enjoyable for me. While Ava and Sebastian were more on the romantic side. (Ava and Sebastian are from the story book of the series, Your Irresistible Love. Click here for the review or see below.)

What I Didn’t Like:

  • There isn’t much that I could dislike about the book.

  • If I had to choose something it would be the lack of trust the Bennet men might have during the books.

  • Predictability. Personally, a predictable book isn’t a bad thing for me. However, I am aware that there are readers who do not like this.
