Your Forever Love - Book Review

SYNOPSIS:

I know what people say about me. Eric Callahan, ‘The Shark’. I own it. I’m a powerful man. My sharp business sense earned me that nickname. My façade is my armor. Underneath is where I keep the devotion I have for my daughter. Since her mother died, I’ve devoted my life to her. Expanding my business on the West Coast is one way to ensure I build the legacy she deserves. And that’s all I plan to do for our three months in San Francisco. Until I meet Pippa Bennett. I swear, I didn’t mean to start flirting with her. It was a complete accident. So was continuing. I can’t resist the pull between us any more than I can change the tides in the Bay. We have the same sense of humor, we have chemistry for days, and she’s as kind and sweet with my daughter as my family is. This is fast spiraling out of control. She’s a divorcee, I’m a widower. Neither of us was prepared to take a chance on love again. Besides, we always had a time limit. But as it grows closer, I can’t help but wonder–can I let her go, or could this one be forever?

The third book of the Bennet family series. This story includes Pippa and Erik’s love story. Pippa is the family match maker and it is so good seeing her have a love story! Since book one, I was eagerly awaiting her turn. She is my favorite Bennet!

What I Enjoyed:

  • As always, Layla Hagen is really great with the character’s she creates. I’m not someone that enjoys children in real life, however, Julie and Pippa’s relationship melted my heart.

  • This was more on the romance side, which is great. It was a bit more wholesome, with a bit of a flare. However, I really enjoyed the low key sex scenes. The chemistry between Erik and Pippa was very sweet, tender, and very down to Earth. I like that they were willing to give love a second chance.

  • I enjoyed the surprise at the end of the book!

What I Didn’t Like:

  • There isn’t much that I could dislike about this book.

Rating: 💋💋💋💋💋/ 5

  • I’m giving this one a full five stars. The reason behind it is due to my lack of interest in family type romances, but I absolutely loved this. I went through the emotions with the characters throughout it and fell in love with this family! Layla Hagen has done it again!

Steamy Rating: 💋💋💋.5/ 5
